Awaken: January 27th

This past week we celebrated the one year anniversary of Awaken: Worship Gathering. We are so thankful to be able to come and worship together each week in a little bit of a different style. We introduced a new song called "Awaken" by a band called Daydreamer. This week Rev. Kyland Dobbins was our speaker. Kyland spoke to us about anniversaries. We talked about anniversaries being a good time to look back to see just how far we have come. In our personal lives we have that opportunity to take look back at our lives and see were it is that we made need Jesus correction. In our mistakes, faults, and other. Jesus is our liquid paper that stains us clean. After the message Rev. Jim Chandler led us in communion. Then we made a special presentation to say thank you to our chef and the band. After worship we chowed down on some food. We had grilled cheese and soup and as a special bonus we had an ice cream sundae bar. Be on the look out for some videos from last night.
